Renita Persaud

Ms. Persaud is Managing Director, Senior Fiduciary Counsel, and Head of Trust Administration at Bessemer Trust. In this role, she supervises the firm’s Fiduciary Officers and is responsible for counseling client advisors on issues surrounding the administration of trusts. She is a member of the firm’s Officers Committee, the Special Investments and Discretionary Distributions Committee, and the Fiduciary Counsel Committee.

Prior to joining Bessemer in 2010, Renita was Vice President and Trust Counsel with Fiduciary Trust Company International, responsible for trust and estate planning and administration. Before that, she was a Trusts and Estates associate with Hofheimer Gartlir & Gross, LLP.

She is a member of the Legislative Committee of the NY Bankers Association, the Trusts and Estates Section of the NY State Bar Association, and the Estate Planning Council of New York City.

Renita earned a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and a B.A., summa cum laude, in English literature from St. John’s University. She holds law licenses in New York and Pennsylvania.
