R. Sherlock Elliott

Mr. Elliott is Managing Director and Regional Director at Bessemer Trust. In this role, is responsible for Bessemer's client relationships in the Northern Florida East Coast region, as well as the management of our Stuart office. In addition, he leads a team responsible for providing clients with proactive, highly personalized advice across Investment Management, Wealth Planning, and Family Office Services.

Prior to joining Bessemer in 2005, Sherlock worked at Wachovia, responsible for private client portfolio management.

He served as Bessemer's representative on the Young Friends of the Kravis Center Executive Committee, including three years as co-chair. Sherlock also served on the vestry of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Palm Beach Gardens, including a full term as chairman. He was subsequently appointed to the St. Mark's Episcopal School Advisory Board and served as chairman for five years.

Sherlock earned an M.B.A. from the College of William and Mary and a B.S. from Clemson University. He is a CFA® charterholder, a CFP® professional, and a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor. He is a member of the CFA Society of South Florida and an Honor Graduate of the Cannon Trust School.
