Kenneth Grimes

Mr. Grimes is Managing Director and Regional Director at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he is responsible for Bessemer’s client relationships in areas of Texas, Louisiana, and New Mexico, as well as the management of our Houston office. In addition, he performs macroeconomic research and financial market analysis in order to deliver customized asset allocation and investment recommendations to clients.

Prior to joining Bessemer, Ken served as a principal at True Alpha Partners, where he provided consulting and early-stage investments in technology startups. Before that, he worked as an equity analyst and director of research at Herndon Capital, Piedmont Investment Advisors, and EARNEST Partners.

He supports STEM and youth education programs and currently serves on the boards of directors of STEM NOLA and The Hidden Genius Project. He has also served as a volunteer with Echoing Green and the Miller Center, nonprofits that provide funding and support for social entrepreneurs.

Ken earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, an M.S.E.E. from Boston University, and a B.S., magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, in physics from Morehouse College.
