Julie Light Githens

Ms. Light Githens is Senior Vice President and Senior Client Advisor at Bessemer Trust. In this role, she leads a team responsible for providing clients with proactive, highly personalized advice across Investment Management, Wealth Planning, and Family Office Services.

Prior to joining Bessemer in 1998, Julie was Assistant Vice President in the Private Client Services group at Legg Mason, responsible for coordinating the operations and administration of investments for high-net-worth individuals. Before that, she worked at Goldman Sachs, in the Equities Division, responsible for the management of institutional and wealthy families' investment portfolios.

She is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the Ellevate Global Professional Network, and the NSDAR (National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution).

Julie earned a B.A. in political science from Northeastern University.
