Joseph R. Zakierski

Mr. Zakierski is Principal and Senior Wealth Advisor at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he leads a team responsible for initiating relationships with clients by understanding their objectives and presenting solutions across the firm’s comprehensive capabilities in Investment Management, Wealth Planning, and Family Office Services.
 
Prior to joining Bessemer, Joe was a private wealth advisor at Goldman Sachs, responsible for managing liquid assets and providing customized investment advice to high-net-worth individuals, families, and select foundations and endowments. Before that, he was a consultant at Deloitte working with executives and companies in the finance, healthcare, life sciences, and technology sectors.
 
He is active with multiple education-related non-profits and is a minority investor in the Leyton Orient Football Club based in East London, UK. 
 
Joe earned an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina, Kenan-Flagler Business School, where he was a Dean’s Fellow and a B.A. in communication studies from Vanderbilt University. He lives with his family in Scarsdale, NY.
