Jeffrey Mills

Mr. Mills is Chief Investment Officer at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the firm’s investment research, asset allocation, and portfolio management. He is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and Leadership Council. Previously, he served as Chief Investment Strategist.

Prior to joining Bessemer in 2023, Jeff was Chief Investment Officer at Bryn Mawr Trust. Prior to that, he held various roles at PNC Financial Services Group, including Chief Investment Strategist of the company’s multi-family office (Hawthorn) and Co-Chief Investment Strategist of PNC Asset Management.

He is a member of the Investment Committee at LaSalle College High School, where he also serves on the board of trustees, and serves on the Lyme Disease Research Center’s Advisory Board at Johns Hopkins.

Jeff earned an M.B.A. from the University of Oxford, U.K., an M.Sc. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B.A. in international relations from the University of Pennsylvania, where he played Division I lacrosse.
