Hong Xie
Principal and Senior Quantitative Analyst
Ms. Xie is Senior Quantitative Analyst at Bessemer Trust. In this role, she is responsible for driving security selection, portfolio construction, and risk management. She also oversees the ongoing monitoring of macro and market data. Hong is a member of the firm’s Asset Allocation Committee.
Prior to joining Bessemer, Hong was a senior director at S&P Dow Jones Indices. Before that, she was a fixed income portfolio manager at Generali Investments Asia, and China’s sovereign wealth fund, China Investment Corporation. Earlier, she was a rates derivatives trader with BNP Paribas and Lehman Brothers.
She is a member of the CFA Society New York, CQA, and SQA, and co-authored research papers published in The Journal of Alternative Investments and The Journal of Investing. She is an adjunct professor at Fordham University.
Hong earned an M.S. in computational finance from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. in finance from Central University of Finance & Economics, Beijing, China. She is a CFA® charterholder.
