Erik S. Putnam

Mr. Putnam is Principal and Wealth Advisor at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he leads a team responsible for initiating relationships with clients by understanding their objectives and presenting solutions across the firm’s comprehensive capabilities in Investment Management, Wealth Planning, and Family Office Services. Previously, Erik served as Senior Client Advisor, where he led a team responsible for providing clients with proactive, highly personalized advice across all of Bessemer’s areas of service. He leverages more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Prior to joining Bessemer in 2009, Erik was an analyst for Market Strategies International, responsible for financial analysis and market research.

He serves on the Board of Directors of iHope Academy, a school that focuses on children, adolescents, and young adults who have sustained brain injuries or other brain-based disorders.

Erik earned an M.B.A. from the New York University Stern School of Business with concentrations in economics and finance and a B.A., cum laude, in finance and real estate from Western Michigan University.
