Daniel R. Stanek

Fiduciary Counsel

Mr. Stanek is Senior Vice President and Fiduciary Counsel at Bessemer Trust. In this role, he is responsible for working with clients and their advisors to develop practical and efficient wealth transfer plans, and for guiding the firm on fiduciary issues.

Prior to joining Bessemer, Dan was an attorney in the Estates and Trusts department at Connolly Gallagher LLP. Before that, he was a member of the Transfer Pricing group at KPMG LLP.

He serves as Vice Chair of the American Bar Association’s Special Needs Planning Committee of the Elder Law & Special Needs Planning Group and is a member of the Delaware Bar Association, where he serves on the Estates and Trusts Section, Electronic Wills and Trusts Committee. He is also a member of the Delaware Bankers Association, the Delaware Estate Planning Council, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

Dan earned a J.D. and an LL.M. in taxation from the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law and a B.S. in economics from Cornell University.
