Alyson Wise
Family and Philanthropy Advisor
Ms. Wise is Principal and Family and Philanthropy Advisor at Bessemer Trust. In this role, she consults with clients to design and implement philanthropic giving strategies, next gen education programming, and multigenerational family governance systems. She leverages more than 15 years of experience in leadership development, philanthropy, and family advising.
Prior to joining Bessemer, Alyson served as Associate Director for economic empowerment programming at the Rockefeller Foundation and Co-Designer and Facilitator of next gen programs for the Andrus Family at the Surdna Foundation.
She serves as a board member of University Synagogue and has held roles on numerous nonprofit boards and advisory groups. She is an experienced facilitator and author of next generation philanthropy curricula.
Alyson earned an M.P.A. from New York University, where she was a Lisa Goldberg Philanthropy fellow, and a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College. She is certified as a multigenerational facilitator (21/64) and a family business advisor (FFI).
